Yolande Edwards is a criminal defense lawyer and has been for the last 26 years. She obtained her law degree from Queen’s University and completed her undergraduate in Political Science at Concordia University in Montreal. Yolande is currently working at the Provincial Court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East as a Staff Lawyer/Manager in the Duty Counsel office.

In her spare time, Yolande volunteers with the Ontario Justice Education Network, the St. Vincent Toronto Support Group, and Tarragon Theatre. She has a basic understanding of the French language and was fortunate to be the 2016 recipient of the Osgoode Hall Black Law Students, Lincoln Alexander Award.
